Scarlet Witch Crown
Individual Academic Project | DCC 210: Graphic Design
For this class assignment, I created a graphic design inspired by Marvel’s Scarlet Witch. I used Adobe Illustrator’s Image Trace tool to convert the crown into a digital graphic. I then used shapes and visual effects to create the background and complete the design.
This project helped me practice digital illustration, shape creation, visual effects, and composition. I also focused on using the color red to connect the design to the Scarlet theme.
Yoda Potter

For this class assignment, I used Adobe Illustrator’s Image Trace tool to digitize an original drawing I created seven years ago. The drawing combined the characters Yoda and Harry Potter. After tracing the image, I added color to bring the artwork to life and complete the digital illustration.
This project helped me practice using Image Trace, adding color, and transforming a traditional drawing into digital artwork.
Abyssal Magazine Cover

For this class assignment, I created a magazine cover for a fictional magazine called Abyssal. I completed the entire project independently using Adobe Illustrator.
For the cover, I took the original photograph and transformed it into a digital illustration using Illustrator. I also developed the layout, selected the typography, and chose colors that supported the magazine’s name and created a deep, atmospheric mood. This project helped me practice digital illustration, composition, typography, and magazine layout design.
Tropical Gems Magazine Cover

For this class assignment, I created a magazine cover for a fictional travel magazine called Tropical Gems. I completed the entire project independently using Adobe Illustrator.
I selected an online tropical photograph as the main image and designed the cover around it. I chose bright colors inspired by the magazine’s name and arranged the typography and other elements to create a clear and visually appealing layout. This project helped me practice color selection, typography, image placement, and magazine cover design.
Abuelita’s Sweets Poster

For this class assignment, my team created a poster for an original food truck called Abuelita’s Sweets. My role was to organize the layout and choose the fonts for the design.
Using Adobe Express, I selected two different fonts: one to make the food truck’s name stand out and another for the general information. I also created the square pattern used in the design to give the poster a colorful and organized appearance. This project helped me practice typography, layout, visual organization, and teamwork.
Hershey's Package Rebranding

For this class assignment, my team created a rebranding concept for a Hershey’s chocolate package. My teammates researched and selected the fonts and images, while I focused on assembling the package design in Adobe Illustrator.
I created the package shapes and used Illustrator effects to give the design a three-dimensional appearance. I also designed a repeating pattern inspired by chocolate bars to make the package more visually interesting. This project helped me develop skills in packaging design, composition, visual effects, and collaborative design.
